After we moved from Sussex to Essex, the only riding i got to do was an afternoon activity once a week at school.
After i left school i found a local yard to help out at which eventually led to a job as a stable hand on a livery yard with thorough breds, brood mares, their foals and a few privately liveries. Whilst i was there i also worked as a groom as part of a wedding horse and carriage service.

Smudge and I jumping |
I've gradually done a little bit of this and a little bit of that with my riding over the years. Each time we would go on holiday I would try and find a trekking stables. I've been across the Breacon Beacons, Dartmoor, beach rides.

A beach ride....somewhere.....i can't quite remember |
Last year i had a taster session at polo which was fine in terms of riding but i felt like my shoulder was going to drop off from the mallett/stick.
I have also completed my Bronze, Silver and Gold
Young Equestrian Leader awards between the ages of 20 and 25.

I also abseiled down a water tower to raise funds for Bambers Green as well a few years back
Other than that my interests include going to the gym (Les Mills Classes mainly), gardening - i love growing my own fruit and vegetables and i also love doing things of a crafty/arty nature - such as throwing eggs filled with paint at a canvas - Try it, its very therapeutic!
